Some of the schools listed here are owned or managed by former Via Lingua graduates. Some of them currently employ or have employed Via Lingua graduates. Some are schools we work with on a regular basis as a part of our job guidance and placement program. The details and info here are intended to give you a better idea of work conditions and opportunities in various places around the world. Featured schools here are changed on a regular monthly basis.

Lighthouse Languages, Chipiona (Cadiz), Spain

Lighthouse Languages is a small academy in the beautiful south of Spain, owned and run by Dave Pearce, a former Via Lingua graduate from Prague (2000). As well as teaching locals (mainly children), Lighthouse Languages also offer Spanish courses for foreigners and 2 week holidays for those who wish to come and learn Spanish and experience the local culture. European Language Center, Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Working in Saudi Arabia is a very different experience to most, but can be a very rewarding one (and not only financially!) – ELC Jubail (ELC also have branches in Riyadh and Yanbu) offers the chance for short-term working contracts (from 12 weeks) as well as longer ones. Pay is high, flights, visas and accommodation are paid for as well as holiday pay and a travel allowance, and ELC have regular vacancies for TEFL qualified teachers. Linguistic Lab, Xylokastro, Greece

This is a private English language institute with a great reputation in a beautiful, tourist location, 120km South of Athens in Corinthia, around 100 metres from the beach. Language Lab employ qualified native speaking teachers with TEFL certification and accommodation is provided in beautiful, new, furnished 2-bedroom apartment (shared with one other teacher), Insurance, holiday pay and summer work also available. Shane English Schools, Taiwan

Shane English are one of the biggest and most well-respected chains of EFL schools in Taiwan, with around 30 branches across the island. Shane regularly employ newly qualified TEFL teachers with university degrees, wages and conditions are good and a number of recent Via Lingua grads are currently working there.
